i'm really quite happy with the outcome of this sketch. It was planned long time ago when i didn't even know how to draw mechs and i always wanted to draw one since the time when i saw an artwork of Mazinger vs Getter robo. That was what influenced me to come out with a Mazinkaiser vs Shin Getter fanart

kind of a match duncha think so?... ^^

alright... i need help here. I can't seem to find a good pose for Shin Getter. any ideas?... should the tomahawk be behind the leg or in front of the leg?.... I tried to make his leg go straight but it looks like Shin Getter kicked Kaiser in the butt so.. that wasn't a good idea... so what i did here was the best i can do for his leg. Dun comment on their designs.. because Shin Getter and Mazinkaiser went thru lots of designing. In the Anime, the design is different and the models have different designs too. i just took which one looks cooler and fix them up.

this illustration did not involved any models. I wish i have one of those but i can't afford it.

Oog, I'd help with the pose, but I don't know too much 'bout either of them, but I'll see what I can do :XD:
How 'bout puttin' the tomahawk behind the leg? A pose? How 'bout putting his right foot closest to the screen, planted on the ground, and his left foot furthest from the screen, planted on the ground, and pivot his chest to make it look like he turned in the other dude's direction?

i guess i forgotten to say... Shin Getter is supposed to be flying.

but i'll give your pose a try. seems promising.
one more thing... isn't the tomahawk already behind the leg?..or do you mean calling me to make the whole part of the tomahawk visible as in place it in front of it's knee?..

I'm not sure what to improve on this piece, but in any case try adding more energy to their actions. Also, suggest more that they are clashing, rather than looking at each other~
